Cormier’s Auto Service & Tire in Mashpee, Massachusetts, all began from the hard work and perseverance of Al Cormier Sr. 40 years ago when he opened Cormier's Route 151 Shell. Al Sr. stuck it out in the tough years and built the business on good old-fashioned customer service, honesty, good mechanics and fair prices. He passed this work ethic on to his son Al Jr. better known as Buddy.

Buddy started working with his dad when he was a young boy, sweeping floors until he was old enough to pump gas and work for his dad legitimately. Over the years, his dad taught him the service station repair business and equally important how to treat people; to listen, help if possible and to get to know the customer.

Unfortunately, Al Cormier Sr. passed away in 1991. At that time, Buddy officially took over the business. Shortly after that, the Shell Oil Company decided that repairing vehicles was not in their best interest and wanted to change to a convenience store. Well, that was the beginning of the end at the old location on Route 151 across from Andy's Market.

With a lot of luck, prayers and the help of Buddy's sister Karen Parent and brother in law Bruce Parent, we were able to build the new facility diagonally across the street from the old Cormier's Route 151 Shell location. We are going strong with Buddy's other brother in law and Shop Foreman Rob Falotico, as his ace auto technician and the rest of an all-star staff.

We have now been at our new location since 2000 and continue to build a reputation for the things Al Cormier Sr. stood for honesty, integrity and friendliness.
